“The Exquisite Corpse”

We would like to share with you an activity we did at the center the other week…

The activity is called “The Exquisite Corpse”.

Everyone creates a corpse monster without knowing what the person before them did.

Silly, no? Maybe…

You have just a piece of something, and your imagination continues the monster. You have to imagine the other parts of the drawing and continue it in your own style.

We also did the same activity with text phrases. A kind of poem made all together, and ode to creativity.

“Spiderman came home one day after a long day of spinning webs and fighting crime. He was hungry and tired, but all the food he could find was rotten.
So he went to his house and he opened the fridge and found nothing. Really hungry, he yelled and started to hit the walls.
The dog came and started to speak. He was really impressed how a dog can speak Spanish so well!
The dog likes to dance and he said his name, but when he said his name it was like a song “B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O. His favorite dance was the cha cha 🙂
And they danced all night, Peter Parker and Mary Jane, but he kept stepping on her toes, because instead of having two left feet, Spiderman had eight !
